FACILITIES NEWS

On February 20, 2008 we had a work day to fix up our courts.

It was a very successful day with much accomplished.

We were blessed with great weather and a great crew.

Thank You All for volunteering your time for our club:

Patrick Sammons, John Byrne, Antonia Chavez, Tom Bricca, Hans Kurz, Patrick Vaslet, Bernard Passemar, Laura Anderson and Dave Brooks

We raked and removed a whole lot of leaves, replaced damaged and missing wood borders, set new string lines for out-of bounds markers and added fresh quarry fines to top-dress the south courts.

Activities will be:

Leaf and litter clean up, removal of former bocce court backboard, top dressing former bocce court, installing new wood borders at the east courts, as well as some other assorted light duty tasks.

We will have lunch for all helpers!
